Complete a survey and Sleepyhead will donate to the Mental Health Foundation for you!

During Sleep Week 2021 (15-21 March), Sleepyhead will donate $1 to the Mental Health Foundation for each person who completes their ‘How Well is Your Sleep’ survey.

Recent research by the Mental Health Foundation revealed that the amount and quality of sleep is the third greatest factor impacting Kiwis mental health and wellbeing. The first two are personal finances and relationships.

To support the mental health of Kiwis across Aotearoa, Sleepyhead will donate $1 to the foundation for every person who completes their latest survey. They will also use the results of the survey to continue working on new solutions for Kiwis to sleep better. After 85 years in business, Sleepyhead knows the right mattress gives the best foundation for good sleep but there is always a room for improvement. The company is a part of The Comfort Group, Australasia’s largest bedding and foam manufacturer with more than 1,200 staff.

“We’ve all experienced the benefit of having a good night’s sleep, and conversely, the experience of having a bad night. Ensuring we get regular good sleep is vital for our mental wellbeing. I know this from personal experience as insomnia is a major symptom and driver of my bipolar disorder. Getting a good night’s sleep is now a key part of me staying well. It’s hard work putting good sleep hygiene into practice, but so worth it. Sleepyhead’s survey will help guide us all in the quest for a restorative night’s sleep,” says Shaun Robinson, chief executive of the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
