In focus: new makeup, skincare and refreshing kombucha

Here some of the things I’ve enjoyed in the past two weeks!

Organic Kombucha, Good Buzz

Our favourite organic Kombucha brew has come up with another winner! Not only is their delicious brew available in glass bottles, it’s now available in 250ml slimline cans that don’t need to be kept refrigerated. This means that you can enjoy them anytime and anywhere – a backyard BBQ, at the beach or on a road trip.

The canned booch tastes exactly the same as the bottled range and is available in handy four-pack sleeves  in Blueberry Peach, Passionfruit Guava and Pineapple Mango.

Available nationwide from New World, Pak n Save or Four Square stores. RRP $9.99

Miracle Worker C-Serum, the edit

We’ve probably all spent a bit too much time out in the sun this summer so it’s time to turn our attention towards repairing our skin.

Miracle Worker, C Serum is a great first step in repairing your skin and reversing environmental damage to give the skin a plumper, fresher look. Infused with Kakadu Plum – a rich source of Vitamin C – the serum also contains AHAs, hyaluronic acid and collagen, which work together to boost cell renewal, improve pigmentation, and helps tone and firm up your skin.

Each morning, massage a few drops of the serum into your cleansed skin. Wait a minute for it to be absorbed then apply your moisturiser, sunscreen and makeup. I used the Luminous Drops Day Cream from the edit as my moisturiser and was pleased with how hydrated my skin felt. You will need to use this combo for a few weeks before you notice any significant changes to your skin’s appearance but it’s a combination that I am very happy with.

Wet n Wild Bloomin’ Limited Collection

Peachy-coloured eyeshadows are the latest look you need to know about. Last month, Wet n Wild released Bloomin’, their cherry blossom inspired collection of makeup.

The Bloomin’ Garden party shadow palette features four hyper-pigmented colours that glide on and blend beautifully. The specially curated palette achieves a romantic, feminine eye with glitters, shimmers and metallics to create custom layered effects around the eye.

Bloomin’ Blush – a pressed powder with a creamy formula that’s infused with Jojoba Oil for a silky smooth texture – is part of the range and can also be layered to give a more obvious blush appeal.

Application of these gorgeous products is made so much easier with the use of the Wet n Wild makeup sponge. This unique hydrophillic sponge expands to twice its size when wet, and ensures an effortless, streak-free application of your makeup.

Complete your Bloomin’ look with a spritz of lightweight mist that moisturises your skin and helps reduce any inflammation.

Hydrating Shampoo, Glow Lab

A naturally nourishing Shea Butter blend with nourishing Argan Oil, Glow Lab’s Hydrating Shampoo is suitable for everyday use. Boosted with the super-quenching power of Betaine, hair condition is improved by 43% after one treatment and breakage and frizziness are considerably reduced.

Apply to wet hair and gently massage through the scalp – there is no excessive lather so don’t feel you need to apply more product.

Glow Lab recommends using their hair mask twice a week for optimal hydration and hair health.

Available in 300ml and 600ml sizes.
