In focus: Nivea Q10 serum and other things we loved

We loved this serum when it first launched and now it’s come out in a new formula with 10X more creatine. Found naturally in your skin, creatine is important for the function and energy supply of your cells and helps fight the effects of ageing by stimulating collagen production which, in turn, reduces fine lines, sagging and sun damage.  

The Coenzyme Q10 pearly gold balls are immersed in a moisturising hydrogel of hyaluronic acid and creatine – all of which combine together each time you press the pump. Use it daily on your face, neck and décolletage, preferably in conjunction with the Nivea Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Day and Night Creams. The silky serum glides over your skin; it’s absorbed quickly and will give you an instant hit of hydrating moisture.   

The focus team are forever rushing around with photoshoots, meetings and networking events occupying much of our time which means we sometimes have to rely on a dry shampoo to get us through an action-packed day. 

Hello, Soap & Glory ‘The Rushower’ Dry Shampoo! A quick shake, spray onto the roots and a light massage sees any excess grease absorbed. It doesn’t weigh your hair down, make it shiny or leave any white residue which, of course, are all big pluses for us. We purchased the handy travel-size 50ml versions (from Mecca Maxima) but it’s also available in a 200ml can. 

Soap & Glory’s signature scent is Rose and Bergamot – pleasant but a little overpowering if you’re in a confined space so, be warned! The product also contains scent release technology which means that your hair smells fresh for longer.
