Tauranga Business Women’s Network event

Last week the Tauranga Business Women’s Network organised a facilitated luncheon event at The Tauranga Club which is always a great venue for an event. The weather was perfect and the views across the Bay were idyllic.

Table seating was allocated to ensure guests met new people and a committee member at each table ensured the conversations flowed … as if a room full of women need prompting to speak!!

After introducing ourselves to the other ladies at our table we got stuck into all sorts of issues including new proposals for rental properties, the state of the planet and sustainability. New relationships were formed and business cards were swapped.

The Club created a very tasty luncheon – I had the salmon, the other option was a Thai beef salad – followed by tea and coffee.

The BWN facilitated luncheons are a definite must-do if you’re a woman in business. It’s a great way to reconnect with colleagues and form new relationships.

There are still a number of events on the BWN calendar for 2018. Jump onto their website to find out more.
