Tauranga’s biggest pink party is back – and everyone’s invited
Tauranga is getting ready to turn pink once again when the HOT Pink Walk returns to the city on Wednesday 28th October, bringing thousands of people together for an evening of fun, friendship and an important cause.
Kicking off at 5pm from Tauranga’s waterfront, the much-loved community event will see the city centre come alive with pink, music, laughter and plenty of feel-good energy – all while raising vital funds to support local people affected by breast cancer.
The HOT Pink Walk experience
Starting at Tauranga’s stunning waterfront, the relaxed walk winds its way through the CBD, with live music, festival vibes, plenty of laughter and the ever-popular Pink Pooch Parade giving four-legged participants their moment in the spotlight.
And this is one event where the more pink, the better.
Grab your workmates, book club, friends, family, wider whānau, kids or even the dog and come along. Whether you walk with a huge group or simply turn up and soak up the atmosphere, everyone is welcome.
But behind all the fun is a serious purpose.
Every step helps raise vital funds for local people going through breast cancer, helping provide much-needed wrap-around support for individuals and families right here in the Bay of Plenty.
It’s a chance to get together, have a great night out and make a genuine difference at the same time.
So dig out your brightest pink, round up your favourite people and get ready to paint Tauranga PINK! Come for the walk. Stay for the atmosphere. Walk for someone you love.
