In focus: Jaguar The Art of Performance Tour and other things we loved

It’s been a busy two weeks – loads of products arriving on our desks, places to visit and things to see and experience. We just love this time of year.

The Art of Performance Tour

This unique event gave us the opportunity to experience the handling capabilities, acceleration and braking of the award-winning Jaguar range. It certainly took us out of our comfort zones but we’d do it again in a heartbeat. If you ever get the chance to try out the acceleration capabilities of the F-Type, give it a go. One for the bucket list, we reckon.

Best of Bay of Plenty boxes

We know that gift buying can be stressful and with Christmas not too far away, we’ve done all the hard work for you and found the most perfect gift boxes that are suitable as corporate gifts, birthday or Christmas presents.

Introducing Best of Bay of Plenty – gift boxes filled with locally crafted goodness. There are five different and carefully curated boxes to choose from – Treat Box, Summer Setup, Plenty for Everyone, Platter Gift Boxes and Mauao – but numbers are limited which means you need to get your order in quickly.

The gift boxes are beautifully presented – lift the lid and you’ll find a tissue paper map of the Bay of Plenty wrapped around the contents. Our Platter Starter included multi-seed crackers, roasted macadamia nuts, macadamia dukkah, peach and chilli chutney and NZ avocado oil – all absolutely delicious. We loved the fact that all the box packaging is recyclable and compostable and that we’re supporting local.

Honestly, do yourself a and jump onto their website to see the different gift boxes on offer and don’t forget to place your order soon. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

Oh, and while you’re online, why not head over to our Instagram page – we just happen to be giving away the Plenty for Everyone gift box – think delicious nut butter, Harbourside macadamia nuts, Solomons Gold chocolate, Milly’s Fine Food plum sauce and chutney too, PLUS, a banana bread mix from The Nourished Baker.

Earth Energies Botanicals

We were recently introduced to the unique, natural range of kawakawa and mamaku-based creams and ointments, handcrafted at Earth Energies Sanctuary where many of the ingredients are grown and harvested. Using New Zealand native herbs, pure natural waxes, grapeseed and apricot kernel oils and pure essential oils, this range of natural solutions is a winner.

We particularly loved their most popular product, the all-natural first aid in a pot – Kawa Gel. It’s great for itchy skin conditions, hives, insect bites and stings, chaffing, eczema, dermatitis cracked lips. Hop onto their website to see their full range and, while you’re there, consider buying their Himalayan crystal salt with kawakawa – it’s delicious, especially when sprinkled over avocado… yum!
