New study shows – women are better drivers

Not that we’ve ever doubted that but a recent study finally made it official – women are actually better drivers than men!

This new research was conducted by Confused.com. They analysed insurance, crime and driving test statistics for both men and women. According to the data, men commit way more offences like drink-driving or driving without insurance. In 2017, in England, for example, men made up 79% of drivers taken to court for breaking the law when driving.

Better attention on the roads results in women overall paying less for their car insurance.

Though this study might certainly reduce the amount of annoying sexist jokes about ‘Mirrors are not only to apply your lipstick’, there were also some disappointing results. For example, we still fail at driving tests more often than men! And while nobody is perfect, c’mon ladies, we know we can do way better than that.
