Biennial Rotorua Festival of Gardens is back for its 20th season this November, 15-18th. Explore over 40 of Rotorua’s finest gardens!
The Rotorua Festival of Gardens is a must-visit event for all gardeners and lovers of beautiful landscapes. There will be musicians and artists from the Rotorua Arts Community in different gardens, as well as garden owners ready to provide growing tips and insights and to share in the joy of gardening. Your $45 ticket includes a three-day pass and a special map with all participating gardens marked so that you can plan in advance a convenient and exciting route for you and your friends.
Well-known gardener and author Lynda Hallinan is the 2019 Festival keynote presenter – visiting gardens, answering questions, providing expert advice, delivering hands-on demonstrations and general gardening fun. Join Lynda to hear her opinion on a range of gardening topics and activities!
This year’s highlight is a High Tea which will be held at the Te Rununga Tea House at the picturesque Government Gardens. Organised by Zonta, the High Tea event will be held on the Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 2pm. Tickets are available at an additional cost of $15 via the Garden Festival website, with all proceeds going to Zonta charities and projects.
