Gold’n Hour, Brightening Vitamin C Serum, Bondi Sands
Best known for their one-of-a-kind self-tan products, Bondi Sands has expanded their repertoire into everyday skincare.
One of the skincare products is the Gold’n Hour, Brightening Vitamin C Serum which has the consistency of a creamy oil. The serum contains 10 percent Vitamin C as well as kakadu plum and licorice root extract which all work together to nourish and hydrate the skin giving it a more even skin tone and leave it glowing and healthy looking.
Apply 2-3 drops of the serum to clean, dry skin. You’ll find it sinks into the skin quickly so there’s no waiting for ages for it to be absorbed. Apply your moisturiser and, if using in the morning, SPF protection to finish off.
Superfood Crystal Glow Elixir, Raww Cosmetics
Recently launched in New Zealand, Australian brand Raww Cosmetics has innovative products containing concentrated superfoods and clinically proven natural quality ingredients at an accessible price point.
Their new Superfood Crystal Glow Elixir is infused with real white tourmaline crystal which helps to stimulate circulation and gives the skin an iridescent radiance. Tourmaline is also known for its protective qualities – it creates a shield around a person or room to prevent negative or unwelcome energies from entering. It is also known to be grounding and helpful for balancing chakras.
The Elixir is perfect for all skin types, including oily skin, and should be applied to your cleansed face and neck, either underneath or mixed with your usual moisturiser, serum or face oil.

Body Butter, The Body Shop
The Body Shop Olive Body Butter is a luxurious and intensive, creamy all-over body moisturiser that soaks into the skin easily and helps condition, soften and smooth the skin and prevents dryness. The formula is for very dry skin and contains organic cold-pressed olive oil and cocoa butter to moisturise and rehydrate.
Dee: “This will be a must-have for me in winter as my skin does get very dehydrated in the colder months. It has a fresh smell… nothing overpowering and a little goes a long way. The butter is also really good as a hand cream and excellent to massage into your cuticles.”
Megaslicks Lip Gloss, Wet n Wild
Add shine, colour and moisture to your lips with these ultra-glossy tinted lip glosses, available in ten shades to suit your every mood. Super versatile, the glosses can be worn on their own or over a lipstick to boost shine.
Laura: “These are so awesome. I love the high shine and a few of the glosses even have a bit of a shimmer to them. They are easy to apply and are a good way to moisturise your lips too. I tried out Buried Treasure and Attitude Check which had darker pigments, and Pink Champagne which I decided to put on top of another darker lipstick. All looked amazing and my friends were quite envious with my new selection of lippies. At $7.99, I think these are good value.”
