Melora Manuka Honey & Oil Double Action Hand Wash
The New Zealand Mānuka Group has brought out the beautiful Melora™ range and, with all the necessary handwashing going on, we’re amped to use their beautiful Mānuka Honey & Oil Double Hand Wash. With antibacterial properties from Mānuka Honey and Mānuka Oil, this liquid soap in an easy pump bottle, keeps your hands clean from bacteria but doesn’t strip all the natural oils from your skin. It does leave a slightly antiseptic smell on your hands but it’s certainly not overpowering or unpleasant.
The hand wash also contains Vulgare (Barley) Leaf and Wheat Leaf Extract which condition and smooth the skin. There’s also Lactic Acid – an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) which gently exfoliates the skin and reduces the appearance of premature aging – and Citric Acid which balances skin acidity and promotes gentle skin regrowth. The Mulberry Extract – often used in Chinese medicine – visibly lightens age spots and evens out the skin tone but we’ll probably have to continue using this for a few more weeks before we see these results.
The Melora range includes a moisturiser, body lotion and mouthwash, all of which contain the natural powers of New Zealand’s native Mānuka tree.

Ozark
Ok, I know I’m really late to the party as I only recently started watching Ozark. I certainly had seen the title on the Netflix suggestion list but the name didn’t grab me – it was only when my mum suggested I watch it that I dived right in. It turns out that the Ozarks are a place in America’s mid-west and it’s where Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman), his wife Wendy (Laura Linney) and their two kids head after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong. It’s here that Marty, a financial planner, gets involved in numerous businesses to try and launder money to save his family from a drug cartel. It’s intriguing and surprising.
If money-laundering, drug cartels and spicy humour is your cup of tea, you might also like ‘Good Girls’ – one of the 10 best shows of the last few years according to focus editors.
