After captivating 20,000 visitors during its debut season in Auckland, Dreamer is bringing its magic to Tauranga these July school holidays.
Dreamer goes on sale this week, running from Friday 10 July to Sunday 19 July 2026 at Mercury Baypark Arena. For 10 days only, the arena will be transformed into a glowing, interactive world of light, colour and sound, creating a unique indoor school holiday experience for families, friends and visitors of all ages.

Designed to spark curiosity and imagination, Dreamer invites visitors to wander at their own pace through a series of large-scale light installations, playful environments and interactive experiences. Draw with light, dance alongside light-suit robots, challenge friends to giant glowing pong, and watch as digital wizardry transforms you into blooming bouquets of flowers.
Blending creativity, technology and play, Dreamer has been designed to delight at every turn, offering moments of wonder, exploration and connection for visitors young and old.
Unlike traditional light festivals, Dreamer takes place entirely indoors, making it the ideal winter school holiday activity.
Whether you’re escaping the winter weather, looking for a memorable family day out, or simply seeking something a little different these holidays, Dreamer promises a shared experience filled with wonder, joy and unforgettable moments.
