Peanut butter thickshake recipe

January, 24th is National Peanut Butter Day! To celebrate this auspicious occasion Tauranga vegan cafe, The Nourished Eatery, is bringing back its famous Cacao Peanut Butter Thickshake for an entire week! Knowing we’ll all miss it when it’s gone, we asked Sharna McElligott, the owner, to share the recipe.

Now you can indulge with this rich and flavourful dessert any time!

Ingredients:

  • 450ml coconut milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 Tbsp Pic’s peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder

Blend all together and serve when creamy. You can decorate your peanut butter thickshake with Oreo cookies, berries and edible flowers.
