There are a lot of lovely burnished autumn colours around right now and for a quick eye look (who has time for more than a quick one, right?! ) my go-to is a crayon eye colour such as Velvet Concepts Eye Gem Trios in Bold Bronze. These fab smudge-proof, bullet-proof eye crayons are so easy to use and so versatile. Dior, Bobbi Brown and Nars do an eye crayon too. Any other cream based shadow will do the trick but keep with the bronzy colour palette. Some shine is important too as it keeps the look fresh – no matt colours here! The three crayons for this look are bronze, chocolate and gold and perfect for a quick autumn through winter look for either day or night.
Simply smudge your bronze eye colour on your eyelid and blend with a light finger past the crease. Smudge a thin line of bronze under your bottom lashes too. Next, draw a line along the top lashes with a deeper chocolate colour and smudge with a cotton bud or small brush to create some definition. Finish off with an illuminating gold on the inner corner of your eye for some guaranteed sexy reflection. This will brighten your eyes and create a fresh look. Several coats of a good mascara help to open up the eyes. Softly defined, and slightly feathery brows finish any look.
