In focus: apple kombucha, tissue masks and other things we loved

“In focus” is a fortnightly, online update on things that the focus team has loved. These past two weeks we watched movies, tasted new kombucha flavours and found the perfect hydrating mask.

Good Buzz Apple Cinnamon Kombucha

Good Buzz is a Tauranga-based kombucha brand. Learn more about them in our latest issue. They have recently launched a new “Apple Cinnamon” flavour, that we think is the perfect choice for autumn. New booch is light and a little sweet, enough to satisfy those after-brekkie sugar cravings. Sipping on Good Buzz doesn’t make us feel guilty, because it’s all natural, unpasteurised and contains no artificial ingredients. It’s super-healthy and also really good for the gut!

Molly’s Game

Molly’s Game is an American crime drama film based on Molly Bloom’s memoir with an incredibly long name: Molly’s Game: From Hollywood’s Elite to Wall Street’s Billionaire Boys Club, My High-Stakes Adventure in the World of Underground Poker. This movie grabs your attention from the start and only lets you exhale on the final titles. How else could it be when the film is directed by Aaron Sorkin and stars Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, Kevin Costner and many other first-class celebrities? Jessica Chastain was nominated for the Golden Globe “Best Drama Actress” award for a reason! Some critics have already named her character as one of the best in Chastain’s career. We couldn’t agree more! Definitely worth hiring a DVD, in case you’ve missed it in cinemas.
