Every two weeks we share all the stuff we’ve recently enjoyed – from the latest TV shows to must-try foods and the most exciting spots to visit in New Zealand.
Divinity Hand Cream, Hayley Benseman
Your hands are probably really dry at the moment what with the cold winds and all the hand washing that’s going on. Well, we’ve got just the product for you.
A few weeks ago we wrote about a fabulous new skincare range by Hayley Benseman – well, this time we just had to share the news about her Divinity Hand Cream. This is a super luscious thick natural cream that soaks into your hands quickly and is such a treat for dry skin and cuticles.
We recommend using it as part of your bed-time ritual. It has nothing but goodness in it – Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, NZ Beeswax, Shea Butter, Vitamin E Oil and a light scent which comes from the Ylang Ylang, Lavender, Patchouli and Vanilla Essential Oils.
As with all Hayley Benseman’s range of skincare, the Divinity Hand Cream is blended right here in New Zealand (Mt. Taranaki), is paraben and cruelty-free. The company also has a really great sustainability programme in place – return your empty jars and they will sterilize and recycle them. They even have a reward system in place for this.
Check out their full range of products.

Manuka Honey & Oil Double Action Mouthwash, Melora
Melora® Double Action Mānuka Honey & Mānuka Oil mouthwash is a combination of antimicrobial properties found in Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil which provides a powerhouse in oral hygiene. The mouthwash helps prevent the development and spread of bacteria naturally as well as cleansing your mouth and gums.
Melora® recommends brushing, flossing and then using the product – swish, gargle and spit out. It has quite a menthol-taste but your mouth certainly feels fresh for a while after using it. There is 0% alcohol or fluoride which is a bonus. melora.co.nz
Tenet
It’s been a while since something new hit the theatres. But movie dry spell or no movie dry spell, Christopher Nolan’s newest masterpiece is a must-watch! If you’ve seen Interstellar, Inception, The Prestige or other Nolan’s movies, you already know that Tenet will blow your mind. Quite literally. You’ll leave the theatre with a headache for days and an itching will to watch all ‘Tenet plot explained’ YouTube videos. You’ve been warned!
Tenet has probably the most confusing, the most nonlinear, turned inside-out, time-twisting puzzle of a plot yet. It follows The Protagonist, played by John David Washington, on a mission to save the world from World War III that they know for sure is about to happen because… but trust us, the less you know before watching – the better! Even the trailer hardly gives anything away.
It took Christopher Nolan five years to write the script, no spoilers should ruin the first impression!
