Nomad Nutrition produces nourishing, holistic and incredibly delicious 1-3 days juice cleanses and is based in Tauranga. For the last few weeks the owners of this family business, Sian and Matt, have been busy creating new blends to include summer fruits such as watermelon, mango and strawberries. They’ve made sure each bottle is jam packed with healthy and important ingredients.
The focus team were lucky enough to experience the delicious new Summer Menu before the official 8th January launch. Here’s what they had to say:
Dee Collins, Editor and Founder:
“I’ve done detox days with juices before but with only a few different juices to choose from each day, I very quickly got bored or overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I had to juice. When this beautiful cooler bag of freshly prepared juices arrived on my doorstep and I peeked inside, I was super excited! Six fabulous juices with clear instructions and a supportive Holistic Guide via email – I couldn’t wait to get started the next day.
I had a really busy day in the office, working on articles, so I didn’t feel hungry in the slightest. Next morning I woke up and still didn’t feel hungry. With such variety in the tastes I felt nourished and relaxed.
Every juice was delicious – I particularly loved the vegie juices. I also love the fact that everything is in season, raw and organic.
I would love to try a three day cleanse as I can just imagine the energy I would have after a three day detox.
I’ve already told all my friends about Nomad Nutrition and have spread the word far and wide. I think in the New Year, after the Christmas festivities, would be a perfect time to do a detox.
I would definitely recommend these one and three-day cleanses to anyone.
Kseniia Spodyneiko, writer:
“It wasn’t the first time I had tried the Nomad Nutrition cleanses! Last winter I did their 3 day Green Cleanse, lost 2,5 kilos (though cleanses are not designed for weight loss, but how can you ignore results like that!) and felt incredible. I was really keen to try the Classic one, as it looked even more more flavourful, colourful and appealing.
Summer menu had me sold immediately, especially with the intriguing ingredients I had never tried before. Being lacto-vegetarian, and occasionally vegan for the last five years, I’ve developed a tremendous curiosity to all things unknown in food. Burdock root, bee pollen, maqui, milk thistle, nettle – how does that sound for a start? But don’t let these botanical names scare you. They are supported by all the summer fruits and vegies you can possibly imagine.
My personal favourite was juice Number Two: mango, carrot, orange, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, bee pollen. To be honest, I stopped reading after ‘ginger’. Give me anything with ginger, and I’ll love it from the first sip. For the most summery flavour out there, you’ll have to wait until the evening for juice Number Five: pineapple, avocado, spinach, nettle, kawa kawa, broccoli sprouts and lime. Number Five screams: “Where’s my swimming suit, I’m going to the beach!” Positive, bright and energising, yum!
I really appreciate the work that Nomad Nutrition is doing. The way their products make you feel during and after a cleanse is so worth the money.
By the way, you can also have 5% off your next order if you return the bottles, or, even better, win a free one by simply reviewing them on Facebook and sharing a photo on Facebook or Instagram. I’m so in.”
