The team behind Soya Garden has sourced the most potent non-GMO soy extracts and mixed them with powerful natural ingredients to create a clean beauty line at its finest. We’ve been using their Foaming Wash and Skin Essence for the past month and here is what we think about this New Zealand skincare brand.
Dee Collins: “The transparent cleanser quickly transforms into a soft foam and, once you’ve added a bit of water, it lathers up beautifully and is easy to massage over your face. If you have a lot of makeup on, you’ll need to spend a bit of extra time cleansing otherwise you’ll find you still have makeup residue left. My skin certainly felt cleansed and it didn’t feel too dried out, however, I would recommend this for a less mature skin as it does remove excess sebum.
I did love the fact that it comes with a clip around the pump which you could use when travelling – no leaky product!
Soya Garden Skin Essence is a great hydrating moisturiser that I used on my face, neck and décolletage after cleansing and over a serum. You only need a few drops of the milky formula and it absorbs into the skin quickly and easily. My skin felt instantly moisturised and soft – no stickiness or shine. Because of the soy extracts – which have powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects – my skin didn’t flush red which it can do with a lot of products.
The skin essence also contains New Zealand Manuka honey which lessens scarring, promotes skin regeneration and repairs cellular damage, and hyaluronic acid which helps skin retain moisture and gives it that healthy hydrated look.”
Kseniia Spodyneiko: “I absolutely adore the refined, minimalistic look of Soya Garden products – the packaging is really stylish and adds beautiful pastel colours to my skincare shelf. It’s good to know that Soya Garden products are not tested on animals and are alcohol-free.
The Foaming Wash quickly became an essential part of my mourning routine – it refreshes the skin and gently washes off all the excess night-time products. I also use it as the third step of my makeup removal routine – after an oil cleanse and wet towel. Yes, I’m that kind of girl 🙂
I do think though that this Wash is a bit too watery and pumping it into your hand can get a little messy. A couple of days and I’ve gotten used to it but I still prefer denser textures.
The Skin Essence is absolutely amazing! It makes your skin velvety-smooth and silky after the first use. The texture of this product is luxurious, the aroma is soft and very pleasant (and stays with you for a long time, which is a nice bonus). I love that it penetrates into the skin really quickly, so you can use it in the morning right before applying your makeup.”
